New Hampshire Fish and Game is investigating an illegally set animal trap that killed a woman’s dog on a well-used trail in Auburn Wednesday night. A golden retriever named Andrew died when it became ensnared in a connibear trap. The trail was thought to be safe even during hunting season given the number of walkers and bikers who frequent it.
