Adopt Kiki!

In June 2021, Born Free USA welcomed a new monkey to our primate sanctuary in South Texas. The monkey – a five-year-old vervet named Kiki – was surrendered to Born Free USA by a private individual, who kept Kiki as a pet since the monkey was three months old.

Now at Born Free USA’s primate sanctuary, Kiki receives high quality medical care, nutritious food, room to roam and explore in a natural setting, freedom from unnecessary interactions with humans, and, crucially, the chance to socialize with other monkeys.

Kiki’s new life has begun, but a long journey of healing lies ahead. Be part of Kiki’s story by adopting her!

Monkey adoption comes with an adoption package, which includes a photo of the monkey – or monkeys – you adopted, the animal’s biography, a certificate of adoption, and a plush toy. You can also maximize your donation by foregoing the adoption package by selecting the Virtual Adoption option. Adopters and gift recipients also receive updates about the monkeys.
