A video taken at the Pensacola Interstate Fair shows a trainer in the cage with a female tiger, seemingly trying to corral the tiger before being pushed to the ground. Once the trainer is on the ground she tries to fend off the tiger with a small pole, before smacking the animal in the head repeatedly.

Another trainer unlocks and runs into the cage with a whip and begins hitting the tiger as she drags the female trainer by her legs into a corner. The trainer hits the tiger more than 20 times with the whip before she lets the female trainer go. The female trainer was taken to the hospital and treated for several scratches to her legs.

Pharaoh, a 15 year-old lion, died. A photo allegedly taken right before his death showed him to be emaciated.

Eric LeBlanc, a reptile enthusiast and pet store owner, reported that he continues to allow his three young children to play with reptiles despite repeated bites, including the following injuries: his daughter was bitten by a bearded dragon and his 2-year-old son was bitten on the forehead by a ball python.

Arlington County Animal Control responded to a call about a snake in a toilet at an apartment building. They rescued the 4- to 5-foot-long anaconda, which was then turned over to a reptile expert. Officials believe the snake was a pet who was abandoned or escaped.

A white fox was captured by rescue group Animal Adventures. According to the organization, she is white as a result of breeding on fur farms, where foxes are selected for different coloration. She is 8-10 pounds underweight and approximately a year old. They believe she is an abandoned pet.
