October 25, 2016 Pensacola, FL A video taken at the Pensacola Interstate Fair shows a trainer in the cage with a female tiger, seemingly trying to corral the tiger before being pushed to the ground. Once the trainer is on the ground she tries to fend off the tiger with a small pole, before smacking the animal in the head repeatedly. Another trainer unlocks and runs into the cage with a whip and begins hitting the tiger as she drags the female trainer by her legs into a corner. The trainer hits the tiger more than 20 times with the whip before she lets the female trainer go. The female trainer was taken to the hospital and treated for several scratches to her legs. Big Cats

February 12, 2016 Stanton, CA Eric LeBlanc, a reptile enthusiast and pet store owner, reported that he continues to allow his three young children to play with reptiles despite repeated bites, including the following injuries: his daughter was bitten by a bearded dragon and his 2-year-old son was bitten on the forehead by a ball python.
