Police found an alligator and python while they were responding to a call about a domestic argument. They found the 2 and a half foot long gator splashing around in a plastic swimming pool in the basement and a python in a glass tank.

A small alligator was found near a pond in Bloomington, MN, where the reptiles are not native. Claims of a bigger one living in the pond were also asserted to officials.

Two seperate reportings of monkey sightings have been reported. A woman called to report seeing the monkey in the downtown area, and a man called to report that he saw a monkey east of the downtown area. By the time the officers arrived, the monkey was gone. There had been no reports of anyone missing a monkey.

Police received multiple calls from people who saw what appeared to be a large monkey about the size of a 13-year old boy. Investigators believe the animal has been roaming the city for a few days now. While they did not catch the animal, they believe they traced it to a man who was selling monkeys outside of the Mission jurisdiction.

A 16′ yellow Burmese python named “Banana” was stolen from Gator Country.

Ohio authorities used a tranquilizer gun to subdue an African eland antelope that escaped a safari resort. The 1,000 pound animal broke free from Kalahari Resorts Safari Adventures Animal Park in Huron Township causing a scare for some local residents.

A 12-foot long python is on the loose in an apartment complex after escaping from it’s owner living in that complex. Residents were warned, and the snake has not been located.

In response to multiple bite reports, Pender County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control removed a pet monkey named Elvis from the home of Nancy Browning. The male macaque had reportedly bitten one of Browning’s neighbors for the second time in two months. According to officials, the animal had bitten the woman once before and her son twice. After the first incident, the macaque had been quarantined in the home for 30 days for observation. State authorities have stepped in and ordered the euthanization of the monkey and testing for rabies.

A snake estimated to be around 7-feet long was spotted by a woman in Louisianna. The woman attempted to kill it with a tree branch, but it escaped. It was speculated that the snake was either a native species or an escaped python.

A man lost his 6-feet long Columbian red-tailed boa. The boa got loose after the man left it in the backyard to sun. The snake has not been located.
