In an article for CBS news, Born Free USA CEO, Angela Grimes, comments on the story of a zebra, who was kept as a kept in Tennessee, escaped captivity, and has eluded police for days. She remarks that zebras are wild animals that do no belong in captivity and that the incident of escape causes both “a state of severe stress for the zebra, which may result in increased harm to those who come in contact, including officials charged with trying to contain the zebra.”
