Born Free USA’s Primate Sanctuary is home to 532 monkeys, many rescued from abuse as “pets” in private homes or at roadside zoos or retired from search. Each of these animals in an individual, with his or her own unique needs, preferences, and story, and it is our mission at our Primate Sanctuary to provide these special animals with a life as close as possible to the wild.
