Born Free USA urges the U.S. Senate not to confirm Aurelia Skipwith to lead the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Angela Grimes, Born Free USA Acting CEO, says of Skipwith’s nomination:

“The nomination of Aurelia Skipwith to run the United States Fish and Wildlife Service is about cronyism, not conservation – a former pesticide executive, still personally invested in the industry, whose track record at the Department of Interior shows she has time and time again overseen efforts to gut protections for wildlife and their habitats with no regard for the long term effect. We urge the Senate not to confirm Skipwith, as her appointment will mean disastrous consequences for wildlife across the country.”
