Born Free USA has released its 2017 Trapping Report, which assigns a letter grade to each state based on the existence and effectiveness of the state’s animal trapping regulations on animal welfare, wildlife conservation, and public safety. By analyzing state laws that regulate trapping, we can see which states have the biggest cause for concern and identify areas in which they can improve. Our hope is that this Trapping Report and accompanying Report Card will serve as a valuable tool for raising awareness and garnering support for change.
