Primate Rescue - Living Conditions Before

Following an undercover investigation by the Humane Society of the United States that found the Collins Zoo, a roadside facility in Mississippi, was keeping wild animals captive in inadequate conditions, authorities on Jan. 25, 2012, rescued 11 animals from the site. One of them, a rhesus macaque, will spend the rest of his life at the spacious Born Free USA Primate Sanctuary in Dilley, Texas. Marvin Acts Nonchalant

Marvin and his new little friend, Monkey the baboon from Madison, Wis., had just their first little spat through the fence (no harm done) and though Marvin outweighs the new baboon by more than 50 pounds he's the one who seems most upset. He seems to be trying to pretend that nothing happened. They were soon back at the fence lip-smacking and trying to be friendly.
