Marvin and his new little friend, Monkey the baboon from Madison, Wis., had just their first little spat through the fence (no harm done) and though Marvin outweighs the new baboon by more than 50 pounds he's the one who seems most upset. He seems to be trying to pretend that nothing happened. They were soon back at the fence lip-smacking and trying to be friendly. Rescued from a Basement, Dane the Baboon Meets Marvin the Baboon
This young male olive baboon was living in a basement in Madison, Wis He was initially cared for by the Dane County Humane Society and is now residing in his permanent home at the Born Free USA Primate Sanctuary in South Texas. Four of the fifteen long-tails who recently arrived at the Born Free USA Primate Sanctuary get to know each in a temporary enclosure. The goal is to eventually release all 15 monkeys into a 5-acre enclosure where they spend the remainder of their lives as free as possible.
