Born Free USA Primate Sanctuary
Some people monkey around a little, some people monkey around a lot, and then there's Tim. He's a prince among primates, presiding over hundreds of fellow bipeds in the often-brutal Texas outdoors. There's no ape escape for Tim and his crew, but no matter. They love to help macaques, baboons and vervets live out their lives with as much freedom as possible. And like peeling a banana, Tim's blogs take you to the good stuff inside — with a steady supplement of Texas weather updates, of course!
Yummy Spunky Monkey Peanut Butter Cookie
Recently, we told you about the Sacramento-based Sun Flour Baking Company’s Spunky Monkey Peanut Butter Cookie and how a percentage of its sales go to benefit the API Primate Sanctuary.
Sales jumped, and so as a thank you, not long ago Sun Flour sent several of these soft and chewy, all-natural, crunchy peanut butter flavor cookies to the API Primate Sanctuary. Because these cookies are nourishing as well as tasty, we offered them to a few of the monkeys as a special treat to supplement their normal diet. As you can see with the bonnet macaque pictured above, the cookies were a definite hit!
You can find out for yourself why the monkeys enjoyed these delicious cookies! Why wait any longer? Order today, and before you know it you’ll be pampering your taste buds with rich peanut butter decadence (vegan and wheat/gluten-free). Even better, with every bite you’ll be supporting the API Primate Sanctuary.
