This event raised awareness of the illicit ivory trade, but advocates are still tasked with the complex, expensive challenge to combat dangerous poachers. Adam Roberts, Executive Vice President of Born Free USA, asserts that night vision gear will be one critical tool for African park rangers to catch elephant poachers in the act.
