Crushing the Barbaric Ivory Trade

On Thursday, November 14, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service crushed more than six tons of elephant ivory--consisting of seized tusks, carvings, and trinkets--to raise awareness of the global poaching crisis, and to send the message that the illegal ivory trade will not be tolerated. Born Free USA's Executive Vice President, Adam Roberts, attended the historic crush near Denver.
