Summary:
A “pet” wallaby escaped from his home and was found two weeks later in a neighbor’s yard. Wildlife officials were able to catch the animal with a tranquilizer. The “owner” was cited for not reporting the escape and is warned about needing sufficient permits to have wallabies. The “owner” had eight wallabies but permits for just two.
