Bill Description:
Would ban the hunting, trapping, or capturing of cougars (mountain lions).

The introduction of this bill represents an interest by Iowans in preventing the unnecessary killing of cougars and finding more effective ways to respond to the still rare occurrences of these big cats in Iowa.
