Summary:
Pig hunters found a 9-foot, 3-inch boa constrictor in Waiawa Gulch. The snake was handed over to the Dept. of Agriculture for inspection. The department was worried that the snake may have given birth. Authorities confirmed that it was probably someone’s former “pet.” Arrangements were made to transfer the snake to a reptile farm on the mainland.
