SB 901 Prohibits Private Ownership of Primates

Bill description: This bill makes it unlawful for a person to own, possess, breed and to transfer or receive ownership/possession of a primate. It exempts AZA-accredited facilities, registered nonprofit humane societies, vet hospitals/clinics, law enforcement, wildlife sanctuaries and persons holding an Arkansas State Game and Fish wildlife breeder/dealer permit or a scientific collection permit.
