Summary: A 15-year old boy was walking with his 100-pound Akita when his dog was caught in a Conibear trap intended for beavers. As the boy struggled to get the trap off of the dog's face, the dog fell into a nearby creek and drowned. The trap was set legally by a professional trapper hired by the city to kill beavers.
