Summary: A 12 to 14-foot long Burmese python, believed to be a former pet, was found coiled inside a valve cover box located at Marco Island's Waste Water Treatment plant. Florida is experiencing problems with the non-native species. The snake will be checked for a microchip, but will be euthanized if no owner is found.
