Summary: A woman and her dog were attacked by a snake believed to be a boa or a python in their backyard. The dog was attacked first, and when the woman tried to pry the snake's mouth open to release her dog, she was bitten. The snake proceeded to wrap itself around the woman and started to squeeze. She was able to pull the snake off of her and the snake escaped and is at large. The snake is believed to be a former pet.
