Summary: Police went to investigate a mournful crying and found a 600-pound pet tortoise who was living with 3 other rare Aldabra tortoises in the back patio of a duplex. All four were removed from the property and taken to the Popcorn Park Zoo in Lacy. The owner was charged with 8 counts of anial cruelty and possession of an exotic species without a permit.
