Summary: Misha, a 27-year-old, 6,000-pound elephant, died in the Hogle Zoo. She stopped eating, had little energy, and lost her will to live. Other elephants at the zoo grieved her death: 48-year-old Dari and Christie, a pregnant elephant. Elephants can live up to 60 years in the wild. Misha originally was captured in Africa as a baby. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo California gave Misha to the zoo after she attacked a keeper.
